Stephanie Lennon is an Anglo-Irish artist specialising in the medium of watercolour and ink painting. Her current series of urban sketches sees her drawn to the finer architectural details of her edifices. Lennon employs a meticulous, patient and precise four-step process to create innovative and striking work, characterised by her unconventional illustrative style using an original and stylish colour palette.
Trained in Scenic Art and Set Design at The Central School of Speech and Drama and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), Lennon lived in the UAE for eight years, a period which influenced her colour palette and attraction to rich, jewelled hues. Her artistic inspirations include Leonardo Da Vinci, Claude Monet, Edgar Degas and Frida Kahlo. Lennon established the Creative Studio whilst forging her teaching career for over a decade, her work is a striking confluence of detail, originality and vibrant colour.
